I have put together several
examples of Rozashi pieces. My mother is credited for making the larger size picture frame and the holy picture. I would like to introduce them one by one. |

Mater Admirabillis You may find this same picture of the Holy Mary in the book Rozashi no Tanoshimi. In 1880, a nun from Northern Italy painted this Holy Mary upon a wall. A replica was attached to a banner that is often used in processions during the month of May. In early 1960, my mother copied and stitched this version of Holy Mary. After 30 years, my mother stitched this picture again and it can be found in her book Rozashi no Tanoshimi. It is easy to understand the special feeling that my mother had with the Holy Mary.
